Colleen Zacharias Gregoire has lived in the Kansas-Missouri area all of her life, and continues to find inspiration from the area’s landscape.  She earned her MFA in painting at the University of Kansas, and has taught in the Art and Design Departments of KU and Baker University in Baldwin, KS, as well as freelance instruction at the Lawrence Arts Center.  She employs oils and watercolors to create Kansas landscapes and “porch portraits”.  Gregoire works from her home studio, and exhibits her paintings in individual and group shows. Her work is represented in numerous private and corporate collections, including Sprint, Jones Co, JCCC’s Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art and the Spencer Museum of Art Docent Collection.
